Al Zamil Group of Companies
Zamil Air Conditioners, one
of the unit companies of Zamil Industrial Investment
Company, has associations with a much larger business
family – Al Zamil Group.
Al
Zamil Group is regarded as one of the leading business houses
in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This vast business
conglomerate has its history dating back to 1930, when Al
Zamil family made a modest beginning with trading activities
in and around Saudi Arabia.
 Today
that small activity has transformed into a large business
enterprise with the corporate tree having grown to include
more than 30 companies, of which around twenty are fully owned
by the Al Zamil Group, while retaining major joint ownership
in others.
The
Group’s operations range from manufacture of air
conditioners to food processing, plastics to steel
fabrication, and stained glass production to travel services.
In addition, Al Zamil’s affiliation with a number of
international organizations has led to its involvement in
numerous other areas including industrial investment,
petrochemicals, IT solutions, paint and packaging.
Al
Zamil’s operations span over 60 countries with a
manufacturing and area
office network across 40 countries worldwide. The group
provides employment to over 7000 people.

Over
the years, the Al Zamil Group has steadfastly pursued a policy
of combining the social dimension along with a growing
business enterprise. The group has been contributing
significantly to employment generation and capital built-up in
the private sector, while at the same time addressing such
vital issues as environment protection and adherence to
international business cultures.
The
group’s sustained efforts have received due recognition from
the Saudi Government as is reflected in family members holding
various positions in government ministries and other key
appointments.
