Zamil Air Conditioners recently completed the supply, including start-up and commissioning, of HVAC systems and equipment at the plant tissue culture laboratory of Zadna International Company for Investment in Sudan.
Under the terms of the agreement, Zamil Air Conditioners designed, manufactured, and supplied three chillers with a capacity of 150 tons each, 32 custom-made compact vertical air handling units, concealed fan coil units, and fresh air handling units. The custom-built air handling units were designed for hygienic and clean room applications at the newly opened plant tissue culture laboratory at the agricultural management center of Zadna International Company for Investment, located in the Sudanese capital of Khartoum.
This laboratory is the largest and most modern of its kind in Africa and the Middle East region. The latest technologies will be employed in the development and modernization of horticultural production in Sudan. The new laboratory plays a vital role in producing virus-free seedlings, as it contributes directly to the development of banana cultivation in Sudan by introducing international varieties that can be exported, leading to the expansion of agriculture in various regions of the country. The laboratory also develops tissue palm cultivation for various moist date varieties, and the cultivation of potatoes, strawberries, grapes, pineapples, and other crops.
Zamil Air Conditioners recently completed the supply, including start-up and commissioning, of the HVAC systems and equipment at KIMSHealth Hospital in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Under the agreement with the contractors, Zamil Air Conditioners supplied and installed several hygienic air handling units for healthcare applications, a high-performance air-cooled chiller, 44 mini-split units, and 52 ducted split systems of various sizes and capacities for the newly opened hospital in the Bahraini capital Manama. The supplied HVAC systems will provide a total cooling capacity of more than 390 tons for the hospital’s buildings and facilities.
The project was highly complex because of the design constraints, as it aimed to achieve adequate air filtration and ensure the required indoor conditions suitable for hospital and medical center environments in the limited space available.
Zamil Air Conditioners has recently been awarded a contract by Kartec Company for the supply, start-up, testing, and commissioning of vast HVAC systems for the Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Under the terms of the contract, Zamil Air Conditioners will supply 35 high-efficiency packaged units and 14 industrial split systems for the EWA’s 66-kilovolt substations. This work will form a part of the 66kV network expansion program that is taking place in regions and cities across Bahrain.
The supplied HVAC systems will provide a total cooling capacity of more than 510 tons. They contain special industrial features, ranging from body paint able to withstand the corrosive environment, to a control protocol for integration with the EWA’s new supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system.
Zamil Air Conditioners has recently completed the supply and installation of HVAC systems for the Khartoum International Community School, located in the Sudanese capital of Khartoum.
The project is part of the existing HVAC equipment upgrade plan. It included the supply and installation of air-cooled chillers and the replacement of several chillers with new energy-efficient units that will provide a total cooling capacity of 600 tons.
It also included the supply and installation of air handling units and packaged units of various sizes and capacities to the school’s senior building and juniors’ library.
Zamil Air Conditioners has completed the supply, including start-up and commissioning work, of an assortment of HVAC systems for the construction of nine commercial malls project in Egypt.
Under its agreement with the National General Contracting and Supplies Co., Zamil Air Conditioners has supplied and commissioned HVAC systems, including 108 high-efficiency packaged units of various sizes and capacities, to nine commercial malls in several new cities across Egypt. The supplied HVAC systems will provide a total cooling capacity of 2,400 tons.

Zamil Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Services Co., Ltd. (Zamil CoolCare) has been awarded new contracts by the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) for the maintenance and repair of HVAC systems at the SEC’s power plants in the western region of Saudi Arabia.
Under these agreements, Zamil CoolCare will supply, install, and replace vast HVAC systems at the Shoaiba and Rabigh power plants, as well as at several sites in Jeddah city in western Saudi Arabia.
Zamil Air Conditioners has completed the supply, including start-up and commissioning work, of an assortment of air handling units and air-cooled condensing units of various capacities and sizes for the Assiut Oil Refining Company’s (ASORC’s) naphtha complex project, located in Assiut, southern Egypt.
The project, which is being executed by a consortium of major companies, aims to produce 800,000 tons annually of all octane types, and to increase butane production to meet the demand of Upper Egypt’s governorates. The $450 million project adds value to the Assiut refinery, which provides 60–65% of the petroleum products consumed by Upper Egypt and the South Valley. It aligns with Egypt’s Vision 2030 sustainable development plan to secure fuel for the local market and Upper Egypt.
Zamil Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Services Co. Ltd. (Zamil CoolCare) has been awarded a three-year contract by the National Grid SA company for the maintenance and repair of HVAC systems at the Saudi Electricity Company’s substations in the eastern region of Saudi Arabia.

Since the start of 2020, DEWA has commissioned several new 132/11 kilovolt (kV) substations to connect different areas of Dubai. This ensures the efficiency, reliability, and availability of DEWA’s 132 kV transmission networks. Zamil Air Conditioners has completed the contracts for the supply, start-up, and commissioning of HVAC systems for several power stations and substations in the Sultanate of Oman.
In accordance with the contract terms, Zamil Air Conditioners has supplied 30 high-efficiency packaged rooftop units for several of the Oman Electricity Transmission Company’s and Duqm Power Company’s high-voltage power stations and substations, in the cities of Ibri, Al-Khaburah, Duqm, and Salalah.
The supplied HVAC systems will provide a total cooling capacity of more than 1,600 tons. They will also provide a comfortable indoor climate, as well as optimal temperature and humidity conditions for the efficient operation of the power stations and substations across Oman.
