Zamil CoolCare, the regional leader in providing engineering and after sales services to the HVAC industry, has signed an agreement with Saudi Binladin Group to commission the mechanical and electrical systems of all Phase One facilities at the King Abdullah University of Science & Technology (KAUST) project, located on the eastern shore of the Red Sea at Thuwal, Saudi Arabia.

Under the terms of the contract, Zamil CoolCare will provide supervisory commissioning services for the following mechanical and electrical systems: conveying, fire fighting and suppression, plumbing, HVAC, building management, electrical, communications, utility metering, solar and life support. The systems covered by the agreement’s scope of work are located in 73 campus-wide structures of divergent purposes, including residential buildings, research incubators, a visitor center, a library, restaurants, shops, theatres, offices, a yacht club, a boat house, and the University’s Center for Marine Oceanic Research.

Zamil CoolCare has expanded its range of services to reach beyond its considerable HVAC capacity and experience to encompass a broad range of mechanical and electrical systems commonly used in the commercial, industrial and residential facilities it serves. Advanced training and practical experience have enabled Zamil CoolCare to build a client base which includes major regional firms and organizations that rely upon the company to engineer, repair and maintain their electrical controls and building management systems in addition to meeting their HVAC service needs.

"Over the years, Zamil CoolCare has built a solid reputation – not only as an HVAC service and maintenance company – but as a regional electromechanical systems and services provider as well.  We were chosen for this contract based upon our demonstrable skills and proven track record of reliability and achievement.  We're looking forward to meeting the challenges represented by this diverse and prestigious project, one that gives our company a unique opportunity to showcase our capabilities," said Ahmed Zaatari, General Manager of Zamil CoolCare.

The new agreement builds upon Zamil CoolCare's successful performance in engineering, service, maintenance and repair of HVAC and BMS systems located at various prestigious facilities throughout the Kingdom.
